IVCA scheduled to appear at Subject Matter Hearing on Venture Capital and Private Equity Investing in Illinois

Senator Dan Kotowski (D, District 33), Chairman of the Commerce Committee has scheduled a hearing to learn more about the state of venture capital investing and high growth company formation in Illinois.   IVCA has organized a panel that will review fundraising and investing activity for local VCs firms.   The hearing will be held on Thursday, February 4th at the Thompson Center Room 16-504 and is open to the public.  IVCA will discuss the dearth of venture capital funds in the state and recommend passage of TDA II (HB4819) to increase funds available to early stage companies in our state.
