Presented by Kirkland & Ellis, the 2006 IVCA annual awards dinner is an opportunity for the private equity community of Illinois to come together at an event that is open to non-members and members alike. With attendance of 500 people, t he dinner event honors some of the most influential individuals and outstanding supporters of the private equity industry. We are proud to announce the 2006 honorees:

The Fellows Medal recognizes individuals for outstanding contribution to the private equity profession and to the Illinois Venture Capital Association will be awarded to Keith D. Bank of KB Partners.

The Richard J. Daley Medal, which recognizes a single individual who has given direct and extraordinary support to the Illinois economy resulting from private equity funding, will be awarded to Donald W. Phillips of WP Global Partners.

The Stanley C. Golder Medal is named in memory of a founder of the private equity industry. The award acknowledges individuals who have made profound and lasting contributions to the private equity industry in Illinois. It will be awarded to the co-presidents of Madison Dearborn Partners: Paul J. Finnegan and Samuel M. Mencoff.
