May 26, 2010 11:59 PM -
For the ninth straight year, Kuczmarski & Associates presents the Chicago Innovation Awards to honor the most innovative new products and services brought to market in the Chicago region. We encourage you to nominate your organization's newest product or service here.

Nominees can be high-tech, low-tech or no-tech; for-profit or not-for-profit; big products from large companies or small products from small companies. The key is innovation.

We're looking for organizations whose new products or services meet one or more of the following criteria:
  • Introduced to the market since January 1, 2007
  • Created a new category of business (i.e., electronic stock trading)
  • Triggered a “me-too” response from competitors (i.e. software applications)
  • Changed or elevated customer expectations (i.e. overnight package delivery)
  • Solved unmet customer or consumer needs
  • Received market support (number of users) or financial success (revenues, but not necessarily profits)
The Top 10 nominees will be honored at the Chicago Innovation Awards ceremony on November 1st at the Goodman Theatre. Each honoree will be profiled in the Chicago Sun-Times, featured in an ad campaign on CTA trains and buses, recognized in other major Chicago media, invited to a private brunch with Mayor Richard M. Daley to discuss their innovation and invited to ring the opening NASDAQ bell in New York City.

The Top 75 nominees will be granted one scholarship to attend an all day Executive Education Course ($2,500 value), on ‘Innovation Best Practices.' This event is hosted by the Kellogg School of Management in September.
Every nominee is invited to attend our Nominee Networking Reception in August.

There is no cost to enter one or more nominations. The deadline to submit your nomination is July 31st.
The 2010 nominees will be welcomed by our Gold Sponsors, Wrigley and Allstate, as well as Vedder Price, Comcast, Chicago Sun-Times, WBBM Newsradio 780, Crain's Chicago Business, Titan 360, CS Magazine, Google, SIM Chicago, Boka Restaurant Group, the Kellogg School of Management, the Goodman Theater and various other sponsors and partners.
