CHICAGO – Nearly 170 IVCA members, friends and family attended the annual Wrigley Field rooftop outing on June 15. In addition to an afternoon of networking and fun, the Cubs pulled off a convincing 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres.

After a morning seminar on technology transfer organized by the IVCA and attended by about 50 members and interested parties, they converged with 120 others at a rooftop location on Sheffield just north of Addison for a picture-perfect day of afternoon baseball.

Food and refreshments were served and the facility offered inside viewing and air conditioning to combat the seasonably warm day. The IVCA thanks HSBC for sponsoring the occasion.

In addition to scores of IVCA members and their families, representatives attended from partner organizations including the iBIO, Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO), the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center (CEC), and the Illinois Information Technology Association (ITA).
