The IVCA is pleased to announce the Awardees for the 2009 Eighth Annual IVCA Awards Dinner! This year we honor these accomplished individuals from our industry:

Bryan Cressey, recipient of the Stanley C. Golder Medal

Created in memory of Stanley C. Golder, a founder of the private equity industry, the Stanley C. Golder Medal acknowledges individuals who have made profound and lasting contributions to the private equity industry in Illinois.

John L. Hines, recipient of the Stanley C. Golder Medal

J.B. Pritzker, recipient of the Richard J. Daley Medal

In honor of Mayor Richard J. Daley's vast economic accomplishments, the Richard J. Daley Medal recognizes a single individual who has given direct and extraordinary support to the Illinois economy resulting from private equity funding.

Daniel W. Rosenberg, recipient of the Fellows Medal

The Fellows Medal recognizes individuals for their outstanding contributions to the private equity profession and to the Illinois Venture Capital Association.

The 2009 IVCA Awards dinner to present these awards will be held on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Four Season Hotel Chicago, 120 E. Delaware Street from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The evening's schedule is as follows:

5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. - Cocktail Reception

6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. - Dinner & Awards Program

8:30 p.m. - Dessert Reception

Attendees will include investment professionals, limited partners, state and local government officials, service professionals and portfolio firm executives.
