The 2010 IVCA/NVCA Luncheon was held at The Chicago Club this year and attended by 160 people.



Above, Steve Kaplan, presenter.  Steve is a well-known
professor and the Faculty Director of the Polsky Center for
Entrepreneurship at the Graduate School of Business.

Prof. Kaplan's presentation titled "Venture Capital and Private Equity:
Where Have They Been, Where are They Going.”  During the 45 minute presentation,
he spoke of the background of the VC/PE industry, the reaction of the marketplace
in the recent boom/bust cycle and the future growth potential.
