On January 18, 2011, the IVCA  will host the next Toolkit Luncheon to be presented by Reed Smith LLP on the Structuring of Executive Compensation Arrangements in the Private Equity Environment Today and Tomorrow.

This event will present case studies of executive compensation scenarios at both the fund and portfolio company level in today's environment. Also included in the presentation will be a robust discussion of the likely impact that the recent Republican gains in Congress will have on the Carried Interest legislation as well as the impact that this legislation could (if ultimately enacted in its current proposed form) have on Private Equity compensation structuring and design. The presenters will strive to impart an appreciation for the radical legal considerations involved in building successful executive compensation programs as well as an understanding of the market and political trends that are threatening to materially change many of the fundamental aspects of these arrangements.
