IVCA Toolkit Examines Portfolio Company Executive Compensation

Over lunch on Tuesday, February 15th, IVCA hosted a webinar with Reed Smith. The webinar covered the material originally scheduled to be delivered at a January 18th luncheon event. That event was cancelled due to a family emergency for one of the presenters.

This event was part of IVCA's Toolkit series; programs that are intended to provide immediate value to investors at VC/PE firms. The Executive Comp program certainly did that for any investor currently serving on a portfolio board by providing insight how best to approach C-Level:

Brad Schmarak & Seth Hemming, Global Co-Heads of Reed Smith's Private Equity Group moderated the session from Chicago. John Martini, Chair of the firm's Tax, Benefit & Wealth Planning Group presented much of the content. James Tandler, Head of the firm's Tax Group covered the tax implications of the stock v. carry discussion.
