Reaching out to Legislators does not Violate “Pay to Play Rules”

IVCA confirmed with our two of our compliance experts that reaching out to your legislator about HB3393 does NOT violate the spirit nor rules of SEC “Pay to Play” policies.

While IVCA and other groups are working to make our collective voices heard, your individual voice may have as much impact. At this point, Legislators are hearing from Chicago Teachers Union’s automated messaging system daily.

Contact your Representative whether Republican or Democrat; whether s/he is in favor of HB3393 or not. Hearing directly from constituents makes a big difference.  You would be reaching out to the legislator as an individual citizen on legislation that impacts you personally.

Please exercise your First Amendment right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
