Mr. Levin has concentrated his practice on complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts, private equity and VC investing; the formation of private equity funds; debt and equity restructurings and workouts; executive compensation with an emphasis on tax, corporate, SEC and structuring aspects; and on handling transactions that range in size from several million dollars to more than $7 billion.

He teaches a course in structuring venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurial transactions at Harvard Law School and the University of Chicago Law School, is the author of a 1,400-page book entitled - œStructuring Venture Capital, Private Equity & Entrepreneurial Transactions-  and is the co-author of a four-volume, 4,300-page treatise.
