IVCA Feature: Eight Online Articles on Conscious Capitalism

With the economy humming along and investments working well, there is a temptation to keep folding funds into projects that might be unicorns, rather than venturing outside that goal. The concept of “Conscious Capitalism ...”  according to Investopedia, “ ... is a philosophy stating that businesses should serve all principal stakeholders, including the environment. It does not minimize profit-seeking but encourages the assimilation of all common interests into the company's business plan.”

That’s fancy language, but the key word is environment ... not just of the natural world, but of the societal/cultural world as well. The IVCA gathered the following eight articles on the topic of Conscious Capitalism.

... research shows that brands following the principles of conscious capitalism returned 1,025 percent during his decade-long study. The S&P 500 yielded 316 percent during the same time. In other words, conscious capitalism companies did more than three times as well.
