The Senior Analyst will be involved in all aspects of corporate venture capital investing including deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and management. Additionally, responsibilities include landscape research, theme development, company prospecting, term sheet drafting, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation, and preparation of investment committee materials.

SSM is hiring an Associate to join our investment team and we would appreciate any referrals from friends of the firm. At a high level, we’re looking for candidates with 1-4 years of relevant experience (i.e., investment banking, accounting, finance, management consulting).
SSM Partners (“SSM”) is seeking to add a junior member to its investment team as an Associate. The position will be based in Memphis and is a two- to three-year commitment with a targeted start date in January 2021.
SSM invests in rapidly-growing software, services, and healthcare companies across North America. The growth equity firm has partnered with talented entrepreneurs for more than 20 years and, starting with a relationship built on trust, offers its entrepreneur-partners a thorough understanding of the growth company lifecycle and a collaborative approach to building great businesses. SSM makes minority and majority equity investments of $8 to $30 million per opportunity and is investing out of a $150 million fund.
SSM is a tight-knit, scrappy team. The Associate will be given autonomy across all aspects of the firm’s activities and investment process — sourcing, diligence, execution, portfolio management, and investor relations – working closely with CEOs, management teams, industry leaders, and senior investment professionals at SSM.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, entrepreneurially-minded, and have an interest in software/healthcare with the following qualifications:
One to four years relevant experience (i.e. investment banking, Big 4 or super-regional accounting, management consulting, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic achievement
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize responsibilities as part of a lean team managing multiple workstreams in a relatively unstructured environment.

IMD Guest House builds community and healing by providing comfortable, affordable accommodation for patients and their families throughout their treatment
·47 fully furnished apartments, located at corner of Polk & Damen
·The only organization in the Chicago area that supports patients of any age, receiving out-patient or inpatient treatment
·About 50% of our service supports low-income families, and we never turn families away for lack of funds
·Length of stay is determined by medical referral, no pre-sent limits
·Key patient populations: Cancer patients, organ transplant patients, parents of neonatal ICU patients, veterans receiving treatment for PTSD, and more
·In 2018, we supported 706 patients and provides 12,306 nights of service.
Current Board: Professionals in banking and financial services, real estate development, attorneys, healthcare and other businesses
Board Responsibilities
·Serve as an ambassador for IMD Guest House who understands and interprets its work to the community.
·Attend regularly 5-6 scheduled Board meetings per year, in person or via telephone.
·Participate actively in at least one board standing committee, attend its meetings, lend judgment to its deliberations and be active in its work.
·Make a generous personal financial contribution ($250 Minimum) annually, each according to his/her own means, and will be responsible for giving or getting $750 annually.
·Participate in at least one of the fund raising activities organized by the development department each year.
·Prepare for each Board meeting by studying all appropriate reports and being prepared to discuss current activities of committees to which they are assigned.
·Assist in recruiting prospective new volunteers, Board members and agency supporters in the community.
